GOD'S FATHERHOOD – in the Gospel of St. John... “Avinu Sheba-shamayim”

In his Gospel, St. John presents Jesus as a witness who alone can truthfully testify about his Father and his love for humanity.

Jesus, who comes forth from the Father’s bosom, longs for every person to experience what the evangelist John experienced in his relationship with Christ—that he is a beloved disciple, that he is a beloved son of the heavenly Father.

Spiritual Renewal seeks, through the profound theology of St. John, to offer this unique experience of God’s fatherhood and to encourage people of faith to accept Jesus’ invitation to journey home—into the Father’s heart.

Václav Čáp: theologian and lay missionary called to—and long involved in—evangelization through teaching, leading seminars, and retreats at spiritual centers and parishes, as well as through intercessory prayer for healing and deliverance and individual spiritual accompaniment. His approach is characterized by an effort to integrate the fields of theology, spirituality, and psychological understanding to foster mental and spiritual growth in various areas of life through the collaboration of God’s grace and the person’s response to that grace.
