The Academy of Canon Law organizes an international symposium on canon law once every two years, held under the auspices of the Bishop of the Diocese of Brno.

This program is designed as an intensive study course in applied law and is intended primarily for staff members of ecclesiastical courts and diocesan curias. The program combines theoretical lectures by leading experts from the Roman Curia and the academic community with practical group work on real-life cases. Emphasis is placed not only on the professional and practical aspects of education in the areas of matrimonial and criminal law, but also on the spiritual and ethical dimensions of service in ecclesiastical administration.
